Character/Pairing: Take your pick. Maybe the Grinch. What better way to ruin Christmas than by summoning demons?
Rating: Weird. But fun to write.








“Demons'll charm you with a smile for a while
But you must always be wary of things that are scary.

Don’t invoke powers you can’t contain
Don’t draw stars on the ground in the rain.

Don’t draw in blood at all, if you can
You’ll find evil enough in your fellow man.

And even if you do it right, under the right moon, on the right night
A demon on a jaunt is not what you want…

They can be quite charming, and their logic disarming,
But you can be sure, their motives aren’t pure.

If you did the research, I think you would find
Your best interests are not on their minds.

You’ve played into their hands, it’s true
Their ticket to this world was you!”

With that said, he closed his book and started to bed.
Then he turned on the stairs with eyes fierce and bright.

“The abyss may look back at you some night!
Step back from the dark, stay in the light!

Beware those who beckon from fiery flames.
Beware their sweet smiles, and beware their games.
Don't be tempted by power, and don't call their names.

Demons'll charm you with a smile for a while
But there's no turning back when you walk that mile."
