Title: And I'm Pulled to You
Day/Theme: March 3 my cage has many rooms, damask and dark
Series: Yuugiou
Character/Pairing: Yami no Yuugi/Anzu
Rating: PG
"That was not your wisest move," the other Yuugi said.
Anzu flushed slightly, and took a step forward; closer to him.
He tensed slightly and backed away, before turning around and leaving the room.
-
Anzu didn't know how to tell time in here, she had no idea how long time passed until he returned.
"I do not know how to get you out of here yet," he said.
"Maybe you should show me around, just in case?" Anzu said, just resisting the urge to move to him.
"No," he said sharply. "Stay in here."
He left again.
-
"It's cold in here," Anzu said when he returned.
"I apologize for that," the other Yuugi said.
Anzu licked her lips and closed her eyes. Something seemed to be pulsing in the room, and she very much wanted to walk over to him. There was a heat from him, from what, she wasn't sure how to name.
"Do you know how long I've been in here?" Anzu asked.
"Several days," the other Yuugi said. "Your body is in a coma right now."
"I had to do it," Anzu said suddenly, opening her eyes.
He turned around sharply and left again.
-
When he returned, she said, walking over to him quickly, and grabbing his arm so he couldn't leave, "I have to know more about you."
He looked up at her and said quietly, "Do you really?"
Anzu nodded, "I don't know of anything I want more."
It was strange, losing her mind to him, to this, but it wasn't something she could deny.
The other Yuugi tilted his head to the side, "Follow me and stick close. We must not run into the front me."
When the were out of the room, Anzu asked, "Why not?"
"He can't get too close," the other Yuugi said, and offered no other explanation.
The other Yuugi stopped suddenly and set his hand on the wall next to him. A bright light, form nowhere that Anzu could tell, filled the room.
Anzu blinked rapidly, trying to adjust to the sudden change of light.
"This is my soul room," the other Yuugi said.
"It's like a maze," Anzu said, turning around, trying to get a full picture of the large room of stairs and doors.
"Yes. Even I dare not enter most rooms," he said. Then he said, his voice higher than normal, "I believe we have to play a game to get you out of here. I was hoping - "
He stopped.
Anzu looked directly into his eyes, "Hoping what?"
"I don't want you to play one of my games."
Anzu took two steps forward, closing the distance between the two of them. "How about we play something of mine? You can use your powers on any game, right?"
"Yes..." the other Yuugi said. "But I am a gaming master, I don't think there is a game that you could win with me."
Anzu smiled. "It's a very simple game, if I kiss you, I win and if I don't, you do."
"That would work," he said, and Anzu noted a faint blush across his cheeks.
"You probably think it's not going to be fun," Anzu said, flushing and turning away.
"It's not that," he said and then he reached out and set his hand on her shoulder.
She turned to face him, and brushed her lips across his, hoping to get a chance to kiss him more deeply before she won and left, because she was sure she'd never get the chance again.
She felt her body moving on its own, but he grabbed her shirt and pulled her forward, his tongue scrapping against her teeth before she faded away.
-
The next thing she saw was Yuugi, and she tried not to be disappointed.
