Day/Theme:March 2. leave the lies ill-concealed and the wounds never healed and the games not worth winning

Notes: Sorta AU-ish to the story that actually contains Van's character
To him, life was just one big game. The rules were simple, but hard to follow, and if you lose, you pay with your life.
Cheating is what made life fun. Running out in the middle of the street in full traffic, coming out without a scratch on him, laughing at the people who stopped their cars and were yelling, “Get out of the fucking road you stupid kid!” it was just a way for him to get high of the adrenaline that kept him fueled for the day.
But now, there is nothing to laugh about, as he floats above the scene below. Blood covers the pavement, and he sees the driver of the car crying her eyes out.
Life was just one big game, but death is one big contest.
