"Is something wrong?" Itsuki asked Kyon pleasantly.

"Rumor has it," Kyon said, "that the Computer Society President is informing the police of Haruhi's theft of computer equipment and false claims of sexual harassment."

Itsuki shrugged his shoulders. "Haruhi will deny it, of course."

"You should be more concerned," Kyon said irritably. "You weren't involved in that incident, but you are a member of this club."

"You forget who, and what, Haruhi is," Itsuki said. "If Haruhi says that something never happened... then it never happened."

Kyon involuntarily shuddered. Criminal charges were bad enough... but that possibility was much, much worse.
