[February 23] [Silent Hill 1] Hospital
Title: Hospital

When Cybil wakes up she can't feel anything. The floor should be cold and the wall should be hard against her arm where she's leaning on it but she can't tell. She wants to think she isn't in Silent Hill, that that was all a nightmare, but that isn't how it works and she sure as hell isn't in Brahams.
Now she can hear footsteps. She grabs her gun, aims at the approaching figure. There didn't seem to be anyone here but Harry, so whoever this is may be bad news, may be responsible for whatever is going on.
But it's just a young woman in a nurse's uniform and Cybil hesitates.
"Who the hell are you?" she asks.
Before the woman even answers she notices pain in the back of her neck. She can feel something after all, but what does it mean?
The nurse is smiling gently. "I'm Lisa."
She adds, "This is Alchemilla Hospital," as if she can already tell how confused Cybil is.
She thinks for a moment, her mind taking refuge in the idea that she's ill and in the hospital and that explains everything. But she wouldn't be on the floor and in her uniform... Then a wave of pain from her neck stops her thoughts.
Now the woman, Lisa, sits beside her right on the floor.
"It hurts, doesn't it?" she asks.
"Did you do this to me? Did you do this to this town?" Cybil asks sharply.
"No, I-- I don't know what's happening."
Cybil can tell she's lying, but it doesn't seem believable that she's responsible, either. Then the pain hits hard and she forgets everything.
When she wakes up again her head in Lisa's lap, and the nurse is stroking her hair and making soothing sounds. She has a strong feeling that it's just one of the things Lisa does; she nurtures people, even in an empty haunted town at the end of the world. And Cybil can feel this now, can feel her fingers and the softness of her body.
"We'll never get out," she mutters, struggling to get up, to grab for her gun which has fallen to the floor.
"Shh..." Lisa tries to pull her down and then the pain forces her down anyway.
Now Cybil feels a drop of moisture on her face and realizes that there are a few drops of blood coming from Lisa's eye.
"What happened?" she asks, one more time.
But Lisa just shakes her head, and then the pain is too great for Cybil to continue.
