[February 20] [Kingdom Hearts] He Was Good
Title: He Was Good
Day/Theme: February 20 / the false man
Series: Kingdom Hearts
Character/Pairing: Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin
Rating: G
Author’s Notes: This is intended to take place during KH2, but for the most part, it can apply to either game. Very mild spoilers for the Hundred Acre Wood in KH2.
“Why Pooh Bear,” Christopher Robin began, petting his friend affectionately on the head, “Are you sure you didn’t make him up?”
“I am quite certain.” Pooh sat up a bit to lean into Christopher Robin’s hand. “I know because I remember forgetting him, and remember remembering him again. Behind the ear, if you will?”
“There we go.” Christopher Robin moved his hand and smiled. He must have missed a lot of Pooh’s misadventures while he was at school; unfamiliar people didn’t appear in the Hundred Acre Wood everyday. “So… what was he like?”
“Well… he came from somewhere else, somewhere that I can’t follow him to. He was looking for a friend, I think.”
“And he found all of you?”
“Precisely!” Pooh’s button eyes seemed to twinkle. “He helped to rescue Piglet and practiced bouncing with Roo. And he got me honey!”
“He knows what you like, then.”
“He’s very clever.”
“Where is he now?”
“Looking for his friend, I suppose. But he shall always be in my heart.”
“As you will always be in mine.” Christopher Robin stopped scratching so that Pooh could tilt his head up to smile.
Christopher Robin didn’t know who Sora was.
But he hoped to meet him one day, if only to thank him for taking care of Pooh.
