"Kaorin!" her mother said. "It's New Year's Day! Time to get up!"

Kaorin slowly woke up. "Oh... Good morning..." she said distantly.

"What," her mother said, "no begging for a 'continuation', this year?"

"No," Kaorin said, "actually, I'm glad you woke me up from this dream."

"Oh?" her mother said.

"I dreamed I was an astronaut," Kaorin said nervously. "I confronted another woman with pepper spray, a knife and a gun. And I was wearing a trench coat, a wig... and... a diaper?..."

I'm taking Kaorin out of the Astronomy Club, her mother thought, and I'm putting her into therapy.
