Kyon walked up to Itsuki. "Hey, do you know if Haruhi is—"

Itsuki cut him off. "I'm glad you asked, Kyon. If we are to meet Haruhi's challenges, we must learn about her thoughts and expectations."

"..." said Kyon.

"Of course," Itsuki continued, "even the Agency cannot claim to know all there is to know about Haruhi."

Kyon sweat-dropped. "..." he said again.

"It is the greatest challenge of a life-time," said Itsuki, "to understand the mind of Haruhi Suzumiya."

Kyon face-palmed. Fer cryin' out loud, he thought, I only want to know if Haruhi is here at school today.
