Haruhi walked up to a troubled Mikuru. "Is something wrong, Mikuru-chan?" she asked gently.

Mikuru rubbed at her eyes. "*sniff* Oh, it's nothing... *sniff* I don't mean *sniff* to trouble you..."

Haruhi rested a hand on Mikuru's shoulder. "Mikuru, I want you to know that, as the SOS Brigade leader, I'm here for you."

A touched Mikuru suddenly began to cry openly. "Oh!... Miss Haruhi!..."

"AFTER THE CLUB MEETING!!" Haruhi suddenly shouted. "Until then, I WANT TO SEE YOU SMILE!!"

Mikuru made pitiful half-mad laughing sounds as she smiled. This must be what a nervous breakdown feels like, she thought.
