"I haven't heard much of Ryoko and Ayeka, this evening," Kiyone said to Washu.

"Ah," Washu said. "Tenchi has been complaining that he can't sleep lately. Ayeka decided to sing Tenchi to sleep with a lullaby, and Ryoko wouldn't let her sing without joining in."

As if on cue, Ryoko and Ayeka walked past, carrying a karaoke machine and a stack of karaoke CDs.

"I think Ryoko and Ayeka aren't quite clear on the exact meaning of 'lullaby'," Kiyone noted.

"And the worst part is," Washu said, "it was their noisy bickering that kept Tenchi awake in the first place."
