4 january . one piece . like glue
Title: like glue
Day/Theme: 4 jan // keep away from my troubles, please.
Series: one piece
Character/Pairing: robin, her nakama ♥
Notes: rated pg! vague spoilers for the ennis lobby arc.
It's a strange feeling, to reject life so strongly and suddenly take it back again, embrace it in it all its imperfection and then, then reject death. She's resigned herself to it, laid out her skin to be cut and taken, fearlessly, selflessly.
And then her captain comes, her rubberman and his friends, and now it just seems too complicated. They're crying and scowling and shouting (they're making a ridiculously loud fuss over a long cold corpse), and she misses them so much, like her chest's on fire, burning and frozen at the same time, wanting different things.
He's telling her to live. Say that she wants to live.
It is unreasonable to ask someone who's fallen off the precipice to come back up, parts attached. No, she is not yet repaired, but she will be well, in due time.
It's humanly impossible to cry this much. Isn't it?
