"No, thank you," Keiichi said flatly, as if he were reciting a rehearsed line. "Urd and Skuld are like family to me, and I wouldn't want to trouble them."

Peorth shrugged and walked away. "Suit yourself."

"Was that the right answer?" Keiichi whispered timidly, knowing that he was being watched.

A hidden mini-Urd answered him. "That's what we wanna hear, kiddo."

Skuld also answered, via a hidden speaker-phone. "And don't you forget it!"
