2 december . in such an instance . my sassy girl

Day/Theme: 2 dec // (even though i didn’t know we’d come to be, it is like fate that we met)
Series: my sassy girl (korean film)

In the future, she tells him solemnly, I will have an eye patch and a grave scar running down across my spine. Would you still want to be with me?
Hn? He wants time to think, and then remembers she wouldn't want him to have to Oh. Yes! Of course. But, um. Where would you get the eye patch and the scar from?
She ignores him. You will be fat and bald. I wonder if I would still want to be with you.
He makes a face. That's not very fair. And gross scars and only one eye beats out fat and bald.
He receives a complimentary slap on the back of his head.
My future self would travel back to time, to right before we first met, and warn me of you. She'd tell me, 'an idiot will try to win your heart in twenty minutes! He's going to go bald and fat someday and will say stupid things!'
That's not even scientifically logical, he explains, his ego feeling somewhat bruised. Your future self would've messed up somehow, because we wouldn't be sitting next to each other right now.
Well, that's your fault of course, she answers brusquely. Your future self, who is such a pain, would go after my future self and try to ask her out so she would be too distracted to warn me!
She kicks his shin, hard. Tell your future self thanks, that jerk.
He rubs the offending appendage and retorts, pettily: he says you're welcome.
