Urd and Skuld walked up to Belldandy, who was working at the kitchen counter. "Whatcha makin', Bell?" asked Urd.

"It's an artichoke casserole," Belldandy said.

"Preparing the artichokes looks like hard work," Skuld said.

As Keiichi walked into the kitchen, behind the goddesses, Belldandy demonstrated her technique. "After you strip the outer parts, you feel for the heart, and you use the knife to cut away the softer flesh above it—"

A suddenly sweat-dropping Belldandy, Urd and Skuld slowly turned to Keiichi.

"Oh, don't mind me," Keiichi said. "I'm used to walking in at an awkward point in the conversation."
