Motoko and Shinobu were walking back to the Hinata House together.

"What did you learn in school today?" Motoko asked Shinobu pleasantly, just to make conversation.

"Well," Shinobu said, "in history class, we learned all about the Second Defenestration of Prague."

"Ah," Motoko said. "That lesson has practical applications."

Shinobu blinked. "What do you mean?"

As if on cue, Keitaro went flying from Naru's window.

"Oh dear," Shinobu said. "At least the hot springs is a nicer thing to fall in than a pile of manure in Prague."

"I wonder," Motoko said, "if Miss Narusegawa has any ancestors from Bohemia."
