"So let me get this straight," Jack said as the guards dragged him along. "Because our Rose left a bit of anachronistic technology here centuries ago, we now have an unnaturally advanced civilization that's jumped several social stages but has the technology to get all warlike. And stuff."
"You've got it," the Doctor congratulated him.
"It wasn't deliberate," Rose sulked. She felt this whole thing had been blown right out of proportion.
"All hail!" the priests ahead of them cried. "All hail the sacred mobile phone!"
But she had to admit the mile-high model had got all the detailing right.
