The thing was, Kaiba knew that no matter what he said, Yugi would never stay away. Things are simply too far gone now and within a few days Yugi is slipping in through the service entrance as always. Drunk and a little bit hollow-eyed but still smiling in that way that Kaiba has come to privately term as the: "you know you want to fuck me" grin.
Logically, Kaiba knows that he should send him right back the way he came. Stick that tabloid photo under Yugi's nose again and quite firmly remind him that they'd agreed it would be for the best to cool it for a while. For Yugi to not spend every night in the Kaiba manor. For him to stop showing up at the KC building every time he's looking for a quick mid-afternoon lay in some vain attempt to kill whatever hollowness he seems to think he's suffering from.
He doesn't though. Because he knows it's far too late for that and when Yugi stretches up on his toes to kiss him Kaiba finds himself angling his head down to meet him halfway.
