What Homura can't get out of his head is that damned smile.
Kanzeon Bosatsu sometimes pouts, and sometimes frowns, but it's as if se's deliberately providing the expressions so that people around hir will have something to react to. All the other times -- sitting, lounging, draped in hir lily pool, even that one time when he saw hir put down Son Gokuu -- always smiling, as though it all made sense somewhere.
He knows the stories. King's daughter, pure heart, vase with the willow-spray, even the stranger tales from further away.
What he doesn't know is why se smiles.
