"I'm not complaining," Gojou said for the seventh time. "I just can't see why the dragon can't turn into a jeep with a hood. Rather than without a hood."
"Don't listen to him, Hakkuryuu," Hakkai consoled the wet steering wheel. "He doesn't mean it personally."
"Besides, dragons do rain anyhow. It's in all the stories." Gojou gestured at the pouring heavens. "Why can't he have a word with his brothers? Hell, why can't the priest --"
The squelching but ominous click from the front seat interrupted.
"-- not pray for rain next time he's asked," Gojou finished sotto voce.
