[August 23rd] [Bleach] on the wings of the storm

Day/Theme: August 23rd / The sun was a flower, the evening, crescent moons, the arrows were rain, and the swords were lightning flashes.

Sometimes Kaien worried about his Captain.
Not about the man's health. Sure it was a problem, but Ukitake-taichou had been around for centuries before him. Hell, he'd probably see him out.
It was just that, well, he felt things. And he had a temper. Look at his shikai. Tidal waves and lightning. He worried about the shinigami serving under him.
He took it all so damn personally.
One of these days, Kaien figured as he picked his way across the wreckage-strewn battlefield towards the only figure standing, it was going to mean trouble.
You couldn't get away with it forever.
