Dear Kou-nii,

Tenjou-kun has got such a caring mother. She and his sister know little about soccer, but they always say the nicest things to encourage me. Tenjou-kun's sister likes to ask me questions about Japan and myself - my school, my family, my friends. Sometimes when we're talking, I can pretend to forget what I'm here for.

We're keeping a regular tab on my foot. Every time the doctor pronounces an improvement, I can hear the wind soughing across the grass and feet flying across the field. Those are the most vivid dreams I have ever had.

Please take care of yourself, and give my love to our parents. When I return home, I will be running side by side with my dreams, which are not dreams in the first place.
