My dear: I am vulnerable to you because you know me very well.

I look past the window at night and think of you thinking, "She writes letters to me in her mind because she sees no other way to reach for me across the grave, and she remembers everything she has written."

I keep my distance from Mayama-kun because I'm not ready yet to be vulnerable again - we become that when someone else understands us.

But sometimes I remember knowing why the two of you smile when you see me, and I'm learning - slowly - to be glad for it.
