Character/Pairing: Seif and Rowan
Rating: PG for some shounen-ai leanings
Really, he was more than just a bit short. Seif, who was certainly not that tall himself, stood at least four inches over the Black Knight.
The particular Black Knight in question was also had a very small build. His arms showed the muscles of someone who had years of practice with a blade, but to Seif, who was also conditioned in such a manner, this was not anything of note. Although few who met him off the field of battle could tell, under his loose, white tunic Seif had his share of well-toned muscles. Li and Ran, with larger frames, tended to show off their build more often to impress women or the local children.
It was Rowan's plain initial appearance that caused one to let down their guard enough for him to make such an impact. ...At least that was how Sir Seif was beginning to see it.
Rowan could have a bit of sharp tongue or tease too harshly, but he was clever and good with words. He did not speak much about himself, but he was a good conversationalist. He was skilled in battle, but polite, honorable, and even gentle.
And when Seif got a good look at the man from Cambria without his helmet or bandanna covering his head he was absolutely stunned. (Rowan was embarrassed)
Sir Rowan's eyes were almond-shaped and hazel-colored. His chocolate brown hair, which until that point Seif had only seen poking out from underneath the yellow bandanna in small strands, was actually fairly long. Rowan wore it twisted up on top of his head, simply hiding it away.
"Does anybody see you like this?" Seif had asked him. "Anybody, ever? You must be really popular with the women back in Cambria if you do!"
Rowan did not reply with words, but smiled and shrugged.
