[June 27th] [Bleach] the little princess

When Rukia was a little girl in Rukongai, sometimes she told herself fairy tales where her long-lost family finally located her, apologised in tears, and took her away to a glorious future.
(And Renji too, of course. He was just sort of always there. She didn't think about those bits.)
"It must be like a dream come true, Kuchiki," one of her Academy classmates said years later. "You must be so happy."
That night she told herself one last fairy tale where she and Renji went through the Academy together, and served as shinigami together, and were happy ever after.
