[June 26th] [Saiyuki] dust on his sandals

And now that it finally comes down to walking through the monastery gate and out along the mountain path, Genjou Sanzou finds that he will miss even the petty things. The stupidity and envious jibes of the idiot monks that he grew up with: the constantly scattering dead leaves that litter the path and that some other novice will now have to sweep away.
How strange. He had thought that he would only miss the things that mattered.
Missing his master is out of the question, of course; missing his master is the whole world that he is walking into.
