[June 16th] [Red Dwarf] Pinned by heat
Title: Pinned by heat
Day/Theme: June 16. like a heart that stumbles into knowledge
Series: Red Dwarf
Character/Pairing: Rimmer/Lister pre-slash
Rating: PGish
Word Count: 200 exactly. Double drabble!
---
“Get off of me!” Rimmer is pinned to the floor by his light-bee, and he’s not happy.
Lister just turns over and mutters something in his sleep. Unfortunately, he doesn’t let go of Rimmer’s light-bee.
“Lister!” The hologram struggles uselessly for a minute, then stops. He’s been forced through the floor a bit, and he can’t quite keep himself out of Lister. It’s an awkward situation, but at least Lister is drunk; he doesn’t usually remember what he’s done when he’s drunk. Hopefully, he’ll let go of Rimmer by then. Rimmer leans back and waits for morning.
The next morning, Lister notices the imprint of the light-bee on his hand and wonders what he did last night. When he asks Rimmer, the hologram just pretends not to hear him.
“Did I declare love to you or something? Tell me, Rimmer!” Lister has a hangover and he’s confused by now. “Whatever it is, I’ll make it up to you.”
“Just keep your grubby hands out of me, okay? I don’t want to talk about it.” Rimmer then storms off, already in a sulk and trying not to think about Lister. He can’t feel anything, but the heat of Lister’s hands…
