Character/Pairing: Kotetsu Isane, Aizen
Rating: G
Kotetsu Isane stands one step behind her Captain and waits to be killed. She knows that she's not on a level with Ichimaru-taichou.
But even that would be preferable to hearing someone she respected, someone she admired, chuckle like that, and speak so pleasantly as he describes murder. Because Aizen-taichou is just as he always is. Nothing has changed except her perceptions.
It is obscene that he can be his normal self and yet be who he is now revealed to be, and that she never knew it -- that this insanity, this selfishness, was so close beneath his skin.
