[6/6/06][Naruto]The World will be Mine
Day/Theme: June 6th / The World is Mine
Series: Naruto
Character/Pairing: Orochimaru, Sasuke, a little bit of Kabuto
Rating: PG
Notes/Warnings: This supposed to be vaguely symbolic. Or a metaphor for something. I can't ever seem to remember the difference between the two. Also, minor spoilers for the Sasuke in a Barrel Arc, and critique is very much appreciated. Beware repetition and italics abuse.
He sits upon a throne of souls and bones, of crushed dreams and death.
The world is mine.
His subjects bow down at his feet, worshipping the ground he walks on.
The world is mine.
Only one stands, close to his throne. He permits the one to stand, for the one is his equal. Almost.
The world is mine.
“Kabuto…” the words roll off his lips, and he doesn’t even have to give the command for the young man to know what he means.
The world is mine.
Another tries to stand, but is held down by the one standing, as was commanded. He squirms under the weight of the foot pushing him down, forcing him to bow this… this thing, this despicable creature. Kabuto flashes Sasuke a disarming smile, almost as if he wasn’t crushing Sasuke under foot.
The world is mine.
“Bring him here,” he commands lazily, a wicked smile on his face. Kabuto picks Sasuke up, still giving him that smile that seems so sincere and innocent, as though a cold blooded killer didn’t reside behind it, the wicked black designs erupting all over Sasuke’s skin, threatening to engulf him, small eyes flashing gold and livid.
The world is mine.
When the boy is near enough, hands bound by the ever faithful Kabuto, he leans over and murmurs sweet things in his ear, long dark tongue flicking over the rim occasionally, whispering words of strength and power and revenge. A soothing hand is run through the boy’s hair, filling his head with thoughts of his power and beauty. Slowly, the intricate pattern recedes, blackness fading below his collar, eyes changing from amber and angry to dark and calm. Orochimaru gives Kabuto a look, one that signals for him to release the boy. Kabuto does so, albeit slightly uneasily, though does not to question his master’s judgment.
The world is mine.
Slowly, painfully, Sasuke gets onto his hands and knees, bowing low to the master. The wicked grin finds its way once again on the snake man’s face, enjoying every moment of degrading torture the boy is feeling. Sasuke sends him a glare of pure hatred from his spot on the floor before resting his head upon it in a sign of bitter, unwanted defeat, but says nothing.
The world is mine.
Orochimaru, seeing Sasuke isn’t going to protest, begins talking about his plan, how to overthrow his enemies, his loyalist subject, his almost equal, Kabuto, at his side. And while Orochimaru speaks, while he draws on and on about that special plan of his, Sasuke can’t stop the smile from twitching to his face, one thought going through his head:
The world will be mine.

...Orochimaru seems vaguely pedophilic when talking to Sasuke, doesn't he? Oh well, maybe it's just me. Um... critique still very much appreciated, 'cause I need all the help I can get. X_x;
