[May 14] [Card Captor Sakura] Routine
Title: Routine
Day/Theme: May 14/"the finely detailed insanity you've come to expect"

For the last few months, every morning had been the same.
His sister would stomp down the stairs in a hurry, late as usual, and trying to pretend that she hadn't spent the night chasing some magical creature or other. He knew the plushie was to blame, but he still had to catch it in the act, so he didn't say anything.
Their father, who seemed to have an extraordinary ability to read the slightest change in their expressions, also had an equally extraordinary knack for missing details like the fact that so many food disappeared when none of them had touched it.
Then he finally went to school, with his sister desperately trying to catch up with him before he met his non-human best friend in the usual spot. If he was lucky, his dead mother waved at him before he left.
Touya wondered if could still call it “routine” when it was like that.
