Think about the Great Fire of London, and how it saved the world. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end. Think of how destruction means a fresh start. Think of green tendrils springing up out of old ashes. Think of fertile volcano soil.

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Think of how it must feel to be burned at the stake, the pain, the pain, the pain. Your pleasure. Think of how it must feel to be drenched in gasoline and set on fire.

Don't you want to know why?

Warmth becomes heat, becomes fire; pain becomes pleasure, becomes pain, becomes pleasure, becomes numb.

And so on.

There's not a single original thought in your head.

Fall asleep in the heat of the bed, with her heat beside you, and try not to think at all.
