Character/Pairing: Eriol, Spinel and Ruby

Spinel curled up on his master's lap. Maybe if he stuck his head under Eriol's arms he wouldn't hear the noise. Why did Ruby have to be so loud? It was just a school uniform, after all.
"Just put it on," he muttered. "You don't have to like it."
"But these trousers are ugly! I'm not wearing them, Eriol."
"You can do whatever you want," he replied, "as long as you respect the school's rules."
"Great!" Ruby exclaimed, grinning, and ran upstairs.
"How can you stand this disorganization?" Spinel sighed. Eriol just smiled.
"I like not knowing what happens next."
