"Come on down," Yoruichi said, reclining in the pool. The candlelight gleamed on her dark skin and sparkled in her eyes.
Soi Fong held the towel around her and hesitated, body straight and stiff. Her long braids were pinned up, leaving her neck bare.
Outside, the wind whistled over the Shihouin property, hunting dead leaves and driving the darkness before it like prey.
Yoruichi smiled. Her lips curved sweetly, sweetly.
Soi Fong trembled, hand tight on the folds of her towel.
The candles flared briefly, then sank to a compromising glimmer.
Yoruichi's eyes glowed in the shadows. "Come on down."
