[April 18] [Diablo II] Distraction
Title: Distraction
Day/Theme: April 18: (in parenthesis)
Series: Diablo II
Characters: Mary Sue/Gary Stu, Diablo
Rating: G for senseless violence
In the deepest bowels of Hell lives Diablo, the Lord of Destruction. In the darkness shine the eyes of demonic creatures, and hidden pits of fire await for the unsuspecting travelers to fall into eternal damnation. Here Diablo plots the ultimate destruction of humanity and the end of all hope.
And sometimes, a shiny sparkling figure with either raven or golden or fiery red tresses and color-changing eyes appears… or is it a leather-clad one, carrying multiple weapons and spells that never seem to have been used? It’s the same.
This figure that somewhat resembles a hero usually makes it through the first levels of Hell with ease, maybe because even demons don’t dare to touch it.
It then arrives to the presence of Diablo, and emits a strange battle cry that usually varies on style. One of the most common that came to be known is “I KEEL YOU!”
It is said that Diablo then produces a shining little fireball and hits the sparkling figure with it. The figure runs around set in fire yelling things such as “Aaah, I’m burning! My shiny hair is burning! My trendy clothes are burning!” until it falls in some of the deeper, darkest pits and consumes to its death.
With time, the scholars have come to think that it can’t be said that Diablo has made nothing for the good of humanity.
