Unicorns aren't aggressive creatures by any stretch of imagination. It's very rare the time when they resort to violence, for they avoid such circumstances by all means available. Hiding from their enemies is a skill they've perfected throughout the millenniums. No kind of hound can follow their smell long enough. Almost from the day they’ve born they are taught to run at the smallest sign of danger without leaving any trace.
There are some things you can't run from, though. The evil without a shape of his own. The shadow which no shape projects. The cold in the summer night.
