Keiichi walked up to Urd's doorway, holding a plastic recycling bin. "Got any 'dead soldiers', Urd?"

"Yeah," a drunken Urd said. "Hang on." Stumbling to her feet, she drank straight from a huge sake bottle and drained it, and handed it to Keiichi.

"Uh, thanks," Keiichi said. He dropped it into his bin with a loud clatter.

"Hey!" Urd said. "Treat th' dead with more respect, wouldja?" She stood at attention and saluted her empty bottle. A single sentimental sake-laced tear trickled down her cheek.

"I'll ask the recycling center staff to perform a twenty-one gun salute," Keiichi said dryly.
