Keiichi found Belldandy and Urd together, near the front door, wearing spandex jogging clothes and running shoes, and doing stretches and warm-up exercises.

He enjoyed the view for a moment, and then he cleared his throat. "What's going on?"

Urd answered him. "We have to return to Yggdrasil, to work on a problem with our teleport systems."

"Don't worry, dear," Belldandy said. "We won't be gone long."

Keiichi smiled in relief. "Oh. Good. But... why are you dressed like that?"

"We can't use the mirror and the television," Belldandy said. "We have to use Yggdrasil's 10-dimensional equivalent of, um, the emergency stairs."

Keiichi grinned. "A 'stairway to heaven', huh? But I still don't understand why--"

Urd sighed. "Think, Keiichi. Yggdrasil is really, really, really far away. The emergency stairwell is kilometers long."

Keiichi gulped. "Yikes. Well, don't strain yourselves."

Urd grinned. "Oh, don't worry." She went to Keiichi, stood in front of him, and flexed her spandex-clad body provocatively. "It'll help us goddesses keep our impossibly beautiful figures."

Belldandy sighed, and dabbed at Keiichi's heavily bleeding nose with a handkerchief. "Urd? Haven't I asked you not to do things like that?"

Urd giggled. "Aw... But it's so much fun."
