Altessa sat near the window, watching the rain fall in steady motion over the entire land, blanketing the kingdom with the sky's tears. Shuffling the book in her hands, she turned another page, bored from where the story was going.
"Something on your mind?" asked Bright from behind his sister.
Altessa shook her head. "Nothing. Just watching the sky cry. Tears are the only thing that fall from the heavens, after all."
Bright took a seat next to Altessa, accompanying her. "I doubt that's the only thing that falls." He eyed the front of her book. "Your book is titled Blood from the Heavens. Maybe blood falls from the sky too, like the ruby color of the sunset, or it could be a comparison to the Flame Birds of the Flame Kingdom."
Altessa smirked and flipped the book over. "You take too much into thought, Onii-sama."
