Skuld sneaked up behind an eight-legged Yggdrasil bug, her hammer raised. She brought the hammer down...

But, instead of vanishing, the bug's body burst open. Skuld was splattered with blood and gore. As blood dripped from her hair, and soaked into her clothes, she screamed in sheer terror.

And then, Skuld woke up from her nightmare with the same scream.

Keiichi, Belldandy, and Urd found Skuld scrubbing her hands at the bathroom basin. "Are you alright, Skuld?" asked Belldandy.

Skuld kept scrubbing her hands. "Blood... everywhere... I'll never be clean again..."

The others slowly and nervously backed away from her.
