Notes: Whut? Though I’m ashamed to say for such a cracktastic prompt/character it’s a serious piece.

Sasuke lay on the ground and listened as his lungs rattled with every breath he took, that man, Itachi, his brother’s body only a few feet away. He finally did what he swore to do all those years ago, and somehow he felt more alone than ever.

Things he gave up along the way. Thoughts he never voiced. A best friend and a girl who loved him.

"My dream is to be Hokage."

"I like… My dream is…"

"To kill a certain man and… revive my clan."

If I survive.

Everything was starting to blur and he really wished that rustle he heard was his imagination and not that man, Itachi, big brother getting up.

“Hey! Bastard, can you hear me? Stay with us, don’t you dare die on us.”

Wish that idiot would stop shaking him and let Sakura do her job.
