One time, Bright told Altessa a tale about a white-haired girl from his book of legends. In this tale about the white-haired girl, she fell in love with a soldier and fled to the mountains, where her hair turned white.

As much as Altessa hated ghost stories (one story in particular about a ghost bride gave her nightmares), the tale stuck to her mind like glue. That meant that if she fell in love, would that mean her hair would become white? One of the things Altessa liked about herself was her hair, from the poofy curls to the blonde glow. If her hair were to become a dull white, she'd probably impale herself on something.

Altessa vowed to never fall in love. She told Bright this, but he merely laughed, saying that it was only a tale.

Altessa knew it was just a story, but one could never be too careful.
