"Are you asking for a raise?" Chihiro asked Keiichi suspiciously.

"Yes and no," Keiichi said. "You know, Belldandy does a lot for you. The accounting books, the cleaning, the odd jobs... she's more than just a receptionist or a secretary. And she's worth more than minimum wage."

Chihiro narrowed her eyes. "A test, then. Belldandy!!"

Belldandy walked up. "Yes, ma'am?"

"Spell 'chrysanthemum'," Chihiro said.

"C-H-R-Y-S-A-N-T-H-E-M-U-M," Belldandy said effortlessly.

Chihiro sighed. "Belldandy, you're getting a raise."

"Wait a minute!" Keiichi said. "What kind of a test was that?"

"A poor one," Chihiro admitted. "I have no idea whether that was correct."
