31_days January 13/A red letter day, also for crossovers100 Prompt #056. Breakfast. (2/100). (Table)

Character/Pairing: Harry, Anya, Buffy, Dawn

"...And just what did you think you were doing!?" The voice that comes from the red letter is heard clearly throughout the hall, and Harry can only wish to be swallowed by the floor.
While it was nice to have a family that actually cared about him, he could have done without this part of family bonding; of course, he probably should have expected something like this, since the family he now had wasn’t the least bit fearful of magic and were more than happy to use magic to achieve their means. Still, he wondered who had introduced them to ‘The Red Letter From Hell’, otherwise known as a Howler…
"You better not be ignoring me, or I swear that we will be visiting you! Of all the stupid things that I have heard about, this has got to top it all..."
"You know perhaps you should consider having sex. Orgasms always make me feel better, they are a great way to relieve stress and if you are busy having orgasms you won't get into any trouble..."
"Anya! That is not the advice we want to be giving him!"
"Why not, it's not like I told him to go off chasing bunnies, the evil little creatures that they are..."
"You know perhaps you should have just blown up the school with the bad guy in it, everyone knows that always works. I'm sure if you had only asked, we could have found enough explosives for you and no one would have had to spend all that time worrying about whether or not you would recover… Of course, then we would have had to worry about whether or not everyone had been able to escape from the school before it went boom, but still…"
"Dawn! That wasn't any better than Anya's advice. Really Harry, you should have just told us. We would have been there in no time to help you. I mean it could have been like a family bonding experience or something. But oh no, you just had to take all the fun..."
By the time the letter ended, Harry had already decided that he would be hiding until he either died of embarrassment, or could face his friends again. He really hoped that his family never got the idea to come visit him, as he wasn’t sure that the school would survive the encounter.
