It’s a lonely, hot street and the sun makes his head hurt. He stays quiet in the shadow for a long time.
(He knows he isn’t really alone. But where or what is the other one he can’t tell, because he can’t reach him.)
He gets up bored and walks by, catching the glimpse of a reflection over the window of a store, though at a closer look it’s just himself.
“Are you going to show yourself?,” he asks interested and as always he receives no answer.
Then the familiar feeling of being sucked into darkness overcomes his conscious mind.
