Urd walked into the temple kitchen, and found Skuld working over bowls of cream and sugar, bags of ice, and other ingredients.

"Skuld's making her own ice cream!" Belldandy said proudly. "Taste this vanilla!"

"Um, okay..." Urd nervously took a bite. "Wow! This is good, Skuld!"

Belldandy pointed out another bowl. "An American favorite-- 'Rocky Road'."

"I love it!" Urd said.

"And a Japanese favorite-- 'saboten aisu'."

Urd ate a big spoonful-- and ran away screaming.

"Skuld?" said Belldandy. "When you make cactus ice cream, you should take the needles out."

Skuld giggled. "Not when it's for Urd, you shouldn't."
