Belldandy shrieked. "KEIICHI!!"

"Wha--" Keiichi looked up from pulling weeds in the temple yard, just as Belldandy flew at him and bore him away.

After he got his breath back, Keiichi looked up, and saw a snake slither away. "Whoah... Thanks, Belldandy. Was it venomous?"

He realized that Belldandy still held him, and then, he realized that she was crying. "Oh... I'm sorry..."

"Oh," Belldandy sniffed. "Please be careful, Keiichi. If you were poisoned, I would go to Nifelheim for you, as Orpheus did for his Eurydice. But I could not lead you back without looking at you again."
