Lancelot hadn't expected a normal scouting mission- that was why he'd gone along -but the group hadn't found his quarry yet. Instead, a young knight had accidentally flushed out an entire nest of monsters.
The monsters themselves weren't exceptionally dangerous and even without his presence, Lancelot knew his knights would be fine. But best not to drag it out.
He couldn't help his smile as he cut through an attacking pack on his own, his blades glittering in the sun. With a few quick words, there was ice, spreading to make quick work of what remained-
