Summary: Glanni finds a sweet surprise outside his door.
Authors Notes: I'm back! Apologies for not being active here for a while. Life and things got in the way. Pay attention to a certain part of this little ficlet, as it will be making an appearance in my LazyTown/Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? multichapter fic, CrimeNet in LazyTown, which you can find on AO3.
Glanni had been relaxing, watching some weird show on Netflix when the doorbell rang. His brow furrowed as he looked at the clock; who would be ringing the doorbell at 10 pm? He got up and opened the door, confused when no one was there.
He turned to walk away from the door when he noticed a lovely bouquet of gardenias. There was a card attached to the vase as well with Glanni’s name on the outside. He picked it up, admiring the beautiful white flowers. Taking it inside, he sat the bouquet on the counter, picking up the card and reading it.
“If you’re lost, I will find you with a vision knows your fear,
And if you break, I will bind you in my arms.
If you hurt, I will heal you.
If you stray, I will reel you in and drive away the demons did you harm.
Come my way, I’ll carry you in from the cold.
Come my way, I promise I’ll lead you back home.
If you’re down, I’ll convert you with a missionary zeal,
And guard your heart with a mercenary cool.
And if you’re drained, I will fill you up
With my love until you know the glory of an other-wordly fool.”
Glanni was all smiles. He had a feeling he knew who the card and flowers were from. He snapped a pic of the words, and sent it to Sean.
“You’re the only one I know who can come up with something this sweet.”
