He thought it cruel for a moment to withhold his role in what had brought Ingo here to begin with. Yet Volo held his tongue. Having sacrificed his only chance to harness Arceus, living within Ingo’s memory was the closest he would get to immortality.
If that was the burden Volo would bear, then it was only fair Ingo shoulder the weight of heartbreak, too.
