Hervey only waited for a moment after knocking before opening the door. And when he did, he winced.

"You drinking that or bathing in it?"

"Mostly the former," Sigurd replied, looking over from his desk.

Hervey chuckled. The ship had rolled a bit, not long before.

"Wanna talk about it?"

There had been a bit of news, earlier, from Middleport, and Sigurd had seemed a bit rattled, but...

"Not really." His glass was already nearly empty and Hervey suspected the dark bottle was getting low.

"Then I'll just-"

"Stay, have a drink with me."

Better than Sigurd bathing in it.
