"That one again?"

Ed looked up from the book he was reading to watch Roy take off his jacket.

"I feel like I'm missing something," Ed replied before frowning and waiting for some snappy response.

Instead, and perhaps it was their shared interest in alchemy at work, Roy also frowned.

"Has she written anything else on the subject?"

Ed shook his head. "No, and she died sixty years ago. This is all there is."

"Sleep on it. Put it aside for the weekend. Don't think about it."

All very good advice, Ed knew. He knew, and yet...

"Fine. Distract me."
